I'd like to take the opportunity at this time to give a short biographical profile of the voice representing Watchmen's Voice Ministry.
My name is Terry Beam. I'm married to the former Sondra Thompson from Fort Walton Beach FL. We have no children and currently reside in Fulton Mississippi. My parents and brothers, of which I have three, started attending the Radio Church Of God in Memphis TN in June 1961.
In February of 1966, a new church was raised up in Tupelo MS for us to attend. The church underwent about this time, a name change to Worldwide Church Of God. This church organization had been started in the 1930's by Herbert W. Armstrong.
Retrogressing for a minute------many out there may remember my coaching days during the "Youth Opportunities United", (Y.O.U.), years in Worldwide Church Of God. I coached the boys basketball team in Tupelo for about 11 years with the ULTIMATE THRILL and accomplishment of sharing the 1980 National Championship trophy with a great group of young men!
The year 1995 witnessed a major split in the Worldwide Church Of God which caused thousands of members to leave and start other affiliations. My wife and I associated for about 5 years with The United Church of God based in Cincinnati OH, along with about 40 others that had formed a group in Tupelo.
I was ordained a deacon at the Feast Of Tabernacles in 1995 at Jekyll Island Georgia. I had previously accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord, Savior and King in August 1978. That baptism placed me into His Eternal Family.
In the year 2000, our congregation collectively made a decision to become an independant entity with a desire to reach out and fellowship with other like-minded congregations. This small group of about 30 people eventually chose the name Sabbatarian Church Of God!
In January 2002, I was ordained as a minister of Yeshua Jesus with the blessing and participation of our local congregation and Ray Wooten of United Christian Ministries.
I have pastored The Sabbatarian Church Of God for the past 6 years. In the spring of 2005, the Spirit of the Lord moved powerfully in my life in ways that I couldn't ignore. The call was prophetic, thereby bringing about the birth of The Watchmen's Voice Ministry in May of 2005. This ministry has gone public on three different occasions in the Tupelo area with evangelistic outreach.
My goal, purpose and vision is to lift up and exalt the Lord's will on the earth at this time.
I go forward to promote His agenda and to speak His word! That's the task I'm committed to.
With the help and dedication of my dear wife, and others, His work will be done! Most of all, by Yahweh's Spirit and Power, His voice through this ministry will be heard and get the return that He ordains!
